Rewrite Digital has joined ukactive, the UK’s leading not-for-profit health body for the physical activity sector, to launch a new programme to accelerate the sector’s digital transformation.
The Digital Futures programme, also in partnership with Sport England, aims to improve digital adoption by fitness and leisure operators, and help more people to get active.
Rewrite Digital has designed a survey, launching today, to evaluate individual operators and the whole sector’s digital maturity and effectiveness across dozens of digital measures. It will help to identify the challenges and opportunities facing operators across the breadth of the sector.
The survey will be supported by in-depth interviews and desktop research for a select group of operators.
Findings and recommendations from the consultation will be presented at the ukactive Conference on 13th October 2021, and will be used to inform policies and funding that help develop the value that all operators can generate from digital to ensure a sustainable future.
All operators who participate in the research will receive a digital maturity score and guidance on how to grow their digital maturity and effectiveness.
